Open-access Computing Laboratories

Plans for labs upgrade in Summer 2009 (PDF version)

EUCS administers a number of open-access Computing Labs around the University, for use by all matriculated students and staff of the University. (For technical information see the labs support pages; training, documentation and direct help are provided by the Undergraduate Support Team.)

There are special rules for access to EUCS services by other users.

All facilities are free, except printing, but are only accessible to registered users. Students are registered automatically when they enrol; staff too are registered automatically when they join the University, and can use their University Username (UUN) in the labs.

Many individual Colleges and Schools also provide computing facilities.

EUCS publishes an EUCS Note detailing the Open-access Computing Labs, including the table below, software available, and information on printing.
